After graduating from Boise State University in 1993, I taught third grade at McKinley Elementary (where Grace Jordan is now built) for 3 years. I then took 10 years off from teaching in the public schools to raise my 4 children. We are a very active family who enjoy both participating in, and watching anything sports related. This is my eleventh year back with the Boise School District. I taught Kindergarten, 5th grade, and 1st grade during my 4 years at Garfield, and this is my seventh year at Trail Wind. I love teaching first grade and seeing all the growth that 6 and 7 year old students exhibit throughout the school year! I believe teaching is all about relationships, and I strive to develop positive relationships with each student and his or her family. Trail Wind is a great school with awesome students, wonderful parents, and a dedicated staff who definitely want what's best for the children we teach.
